Arshan, Russia , 2144 m – visited august 2006.
aka “Peak Lyubvi ” is situated in the town of Arshan in the Sayan mountains of Buriatia, Siberia. (the leftmost peak on the picture)
There are some hiking opportunities here, to the peak itself , or along the side of a canyon with some nice waterfalls. Paths are not well maintained, route signs are nonexistant, but you can join a group that starts from the hotel in Arshan.
Nice buddist temple (datsan) with the mountains as background too.
