Volcan del Cuervo
Lanzarote – visited april 2010.
This volcano is easily accessible from the main road, and a 4 km walk brings you into another world. This volcano looks mytical when walking into its surroundings, what is more astonishing is that you can walk inside the volcano through a crack in the wall. You can experience the formation of rocks and witness how nature survives in barren country. Inside you can easily sit a long time and dream away. There are many flowers inside the crater.
You can also walk along the ridge, but this seems unstable, so maybe a bit dangerous. We skipped this part.
