The
fortress in Huy. In its actual form, it was built as a military fortress
by the Dutch in the beginning of the 19th century. During W.W. II it
served as a prison. Seven million Belgians and foreigners were kept here, and
many of them were sent from here to the camps in Germany and elsewhere.
Now it is a museum to remind us of these terrors of the past.
